Have you ever been in the presence of a goddess?

Some women ask for attention. Others simply expect it.

I don’t chase admiration. Admiration arrives on its own.

I enjoy being adored. I enjoy being prioritized. I enjoy the quiet understanding that my presence is a privilege, not a guarantee.

Call it devotion. Call it worship. Call it whatever you like.

    I prefer Daddy.

The best things in life aren’t owned.

    They’re worshipped.

    Now worship your goddess.

  • Chelsea FC Blue is the Colour ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™

Yesterday evening, I had the opportunity to watch the Chelsea FC vs Tottenham Hotspur FC match at Stamford Bridge. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m certainly not a football connoisseur but I grew up in a sport-orientated family and we bonded so much over the Premier League, the World Cup, the NBA, the Olympics – marathons especially. *bats eyes in East African*. So I’m totally game to watch a match. I actually get ridiculously passionate when I’m invested haha.

The atmosphere at Stamford bridge was extraordinary. I genuinely think watching a live football match should be on everyone’s bucket list simply because of the aura & energy that fills the stadium. The dinner experience was lovely as well – me & my sweet tooth; God help us all!

My favourite part though was mumbling along to the songs the true Chelsea FC fans were singing … actually chanting! Just being silly & having a good time! I was on the edge of my seat during those final 7 minutes of added time after 90th minute. You could literally feel the tension radiating through the stadium.

And of course … we won!!!

My ego has convinced me it was because of my good luck hahaha.

& Yes … I will absolutely cheer for your favourite team. No guarantees for Arsenal FC fans๐Ÿ˜†

My gratitude goes to the special gentleman that made this experience possible. It’s definitely etched in my mind ๐Ÿ˜˜

    ๐Ÿ’‹Until then,

  • A Love Letter to Newcastle ๐Ÿ’Œ

    Dear Newcastle,

I still don’t quite know how you did it.

Between arriving as a stranger and now feeling like my second home. You quietly worked your way into my life in ways I didn’t expect. You were never just a place.

You were the people. Super friendly and the kind who address you as ‘pet’ or ‘luv’ as a sort of endearment. The first time I heard it, I was so confused but strangely … intrigued.

I will be honest. I will never crack the geordie accent and there have been very many moments where I just nodded along hoping context would save me. You never made me feel out of place for not quite getting everything straight away.

In the middle of all this, I changed. It was here that my evolution began. It was here that I realized I have bigger ambitions. My dreams are so big, they’re super-sized & I chase them like I chase the light. You gave me time to figure things out and grow. And now I’m leaving.

London is next. Bigger & better. I know it’ll be exciting but I also know it won’t give me that ease right from the start & perhaps that’s what I need right now. Farewell Newcastle.

You’re something I don’t quite know how to leave behind.

    ๐Ÿ’‹Until then,

    An Adopted Geordie xx
